Welcome to Lice Hunters. By booking a treatment or using our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Our Services
Lice Hunters provides chemical-free head lice and nit inspection, removal, and follow-up treatment services, carried out at the client’s home in Cape Town. Services offered include Lice & Nits Checks, Full Treatments, and Follow-Up Treatments.
2. Bookings
- Bookings can be made via our WhatsApp booking links or booking form.
- A booking is only confirmed once we have replied to confirm the date and time.
- Please provide accurate contact details and address information so we can reach you and arrive at the correct location.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
We understand plans change. Please let us know as soon as possible via WhatsApp if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, ideally at least 24 hours in advance, so we can offer the slot to another family.
4. During Your Appointment
For treatments to be effective, we ask that:
- A parent or guardian is present for treatments involving children
- A suitable, well-lit space is available in the home for the treatment
- Any known allergies or sensitivities are communicated to us before treatment begins
5. Results & Follow-Up
While our chemical-free method is thorough and effective, lice and nits can sometimes require more than one session to fully clear, especially in cases of heavy infestation or reinfestation from close contacts. We recommend booking a Follow-Up Treatment where advised, to confirm the scalp is fully clear.
6. Payment
Pricing and accepted payment methods will be confirmed with you at the time of booking or on arrival, before treatment begins.
7. Limitation of Liability
Lice Hunters takes care to deliver safe, professional treatments using chemical-free products. However, we cannot guarantee against reinfestation from external sources (e.g. school, close contacts) after treatment. We are not liable for any allergic reaction arising from undisclosed sensitivities that were not communicated to us in advance.
8. Privacy
Any personal information you share with us when booking or during treatment is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
